Vision 2020

Our goal for the 'Vision 2020' Campaign

To engage a critical mass of Black people in the movement for emotional emancipation by 2019, the 400th anniversary of the forced arrival of Africans at Jamestown colony in the United States, so that by the year 2020, we, as a people, will begin to see ourselves in a whole new light.

heal from trauma • reduce violence • improve health • Strengthen families • transform black communities

Promote increased public awareness of the continuing power of the lies of White superiority and Black inferiority and the need to extinguish them through: a) the annual celebration of Community Healing Days/ Wear Sky Blue Days; b) the Defy the Lie and Embrace the Truth pledge campaign; c) the #IValueBlackLives initiative; d) the Community Healer Awards , and e) related public education, advertising, and marketing campaign.

Support the establishment of a worldwide network of Emotional Emancipation Circles  and other emotional empowerment initiatives by working with our brothers and sisters across the  African Diaspora to help develop resources and materials tailored to meet the specific needs of their communities.

Help local communities in crisis by dispatching Emotional Emancipation Rapid Response Teams to provide short-term trauma relief and planting the seeds for relief of long-term historical and continuing trauma through EE Circles or other emotional wellness initiatives.

Develop CEU courses for people of all races who provide services to Black people to strengthen their abilities to serve, empower, and transform Black communities.
